the musée du four des casseaux à limoge is joining forces with maribel nadal-jové, curator of exhibitions, for an event that celebrates the color black in contemporary ceramic creation. the oven of casseaux, an emblematic place of porcelain production, confirms its desire to highlight the know-how of yesterday and today. as such, the “black magic” exhibition brings together several generations of artists, confirmed ceramists and very young artists around a common project: to challenge matter in its forms, its lights and its symbols. the selection is not confined to porcelain, it is open to all lands subject to black, artistic fertility.

on the occasion of london design fair, which will be held from september 19th to 22th 2019, maison marcoux mexico/paris in collaboration with méxico territorio creative had the pleasure to present the collection mezcalienne*, a serie of 9 pieces designed by constance guisset following a residence in the region of oaxaca in august 2018.
the sombrero table, the penacho carafe and the 7 vases of the collection mezcalienne are as many pieces designed and made in mexico, by lalo martinez from taller 4 elementos, located in santa maria atzompa, selected by sylvain marcoux for his unique savoir-faire.
the sculptural vases of the collection mezcalienne are hand-turned and surmounted by a round cut vial, intended to contain the traditional alcohol of mexico. vision and tradition.
